And more Italian food

For those Mt. Pleasant foodies who think you don’t need to cross a bridge to get great Italian (and you are correct) I think an adventure to Johns Island to visit the Wild Olive Italian Restaurant on Maybank Highway is well worth the trip.  A beautiful bar stocked with fine liquor and an impressive wine selection makes a few minutes wait go fast.  I recommend the octopus salad.  It competes with the best I’ve had and that includes the Greek Isles.  Their menu features seasonal fresh and local produce and seafood as well as delicious imported Italian fare.

Visit their website at  http://www.wildoliverestaurant.com/ to browse their menu.  There will be something there that will pique your interest, I guarantee it.  If you like Italian, that is.
